GETTING TO KNOW ME! So, I'm the new kid on the block! Not to be confused with the "New Kids On The Block"! Although, I did have a major crush on Donnie and Jonathan many many years ago! Did I just admit that? It is so great to be a part of your day...the hours can go by pretty slow. I like to think that I'm sittin next to you chatting, like old friends! That helps pass the time! Can you tell I may have wasted some time gabbing with coworkers in the past? It's fun! I'd love to know whats on your mind. Feel free to send an email whenever you want. Is your boss on your last nerve? Are you sick of getting your car fixed AGAIN? Did you have a great weekend? Do you have a secret crush that you can't tell anyone else about? Whatever it is, this inquiring mind wants to know. Seriously!
Here's the short (or long) on me... Feel free to send me a birthday present on June 25th...HA! I'm now in my thirty's and my biological clock is ticking...ticking so fast my head is spinning! Which I'm sure tells you I don't have any kids, YET. Working on that. I am married to a great man from Texas. My very own cowboy! Well, he's more of a city boy from Houston, TX but I like to pretend. :)
-Us in Central Park Although we don't have kids, we do have a family! 3 cats Claire, Sammy and Petey! 1 dog, Sophie. Some fish too, but they aren't really active members of the fam. They don't have names either. I tend to call them all "Fishy". Talk about identity issues! We rescued our animals. Although it can be tricky at times, it is the best way to go. These cuties may not be here right now if we wouldn't have given them a home. Claire-ball the hairball Sam-A-Lamma Ding Dong Petey Wetey Doodle-all-day Sophie Lophie
Outside of radio, I keep pretty busy. I have a small business, I scrapbook family, friends, and my endeavors associated with the radio station, and I love "my shows". I'm slightly addicted to the shows I watch. Thank God for a DVR. If I wasn't able to record all my shows, I'd never see them. TV Shows I Can't Live Without: The Office, ER, Lost, My Name Is Earl, American Idol, Big Love, Forensic Files, any one of VH1's "Best of" shows. Other shows I Love: Prison Break, The Apprentice, Days of Our Lives. "Kat"-A-Palooza weekend concert would be: Kenny Chesney, Journey, Keith Urban, Bryan Adams, Brad Paisley, Def Lepard, New Kids On The Block, Terry Clark, Van Halen, Heart, Bon Jovi, Carrie Underwood, The Cars, Pat Benetar, Gary Nichols, Tim Mcgraw, Michael Jackson pre 90's, Mariah Carey, Poison, Billy Currington, Beastie Boys, Harry Connick Jr. Necessity: Sun glasses...keeps me from squinting and pulls back the hair! Can do without: Shots! I hate getting shots...doesn't it come in a pill? Love to cook: OUT! If it can be grilled, I say do it! Or my Italian dishes are savory too! Take me out to the: Dancefloor! I've been known to linedance, and salsa too!

Country's new hot romance to watch! Looks like the "awesome guy" Julianne Hough was talking about in her interview last week was none other than tour mate Chuck Wicks! Woohoo! I don't know who is luckier?!? Last week she admitted to now dating an awesome guy and that things were just really good. She apparently couldn't keep the secret and spilled the beans! How cool is it that they are together all summer on Brad Paisley's Party Tour? This is a romance I'd like to see last, they both seem like delightfull peeps. Julianne said "Chuck is a good work-out buddy, When we play amphitheaters, we'll run up and down the stairs. And all of us & all the bands bought bikes and we go mountain biking and we'll go to amusements parks and things like that." That sounds like a perfect summer romance to me!
CLICK HERE to check out Sanjaya's new gig! Nationwide Insurance commercial and I have to say he's a good little actor! Well, better than I expected. Funny stuff.
AYYYYYY...
I always wanted to have the power "The Fonz" had at getting the jukebox to play for free, and play the right song, just by giving it that Fonzerelli touch. I loved watching Happy Days growing up and stil try to catch the re runs if I can. Arthur Fonzerelli is a major pop culture icon from way back when and he was recently honored with his bronz (ha ha get it! fonz/bronz) statue in Wisconsin on the Millwaukee River, where the show was set. Whats even cooler, is the cast made it there to support him too! Show creator-director-producer Garry Marshall, stars Anson Williams (Potsie), Don Most (Ralph), Marion Ross (Mrs. Cunningham), Tom Bosley (Mr. Cunningham) and Erin Moran (Joanie), as well as "Laverne & Shirley" leads Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams.
